North Goa Court Issues Notices in Petition Challenging CCP Election, Hearing Set for Friday

The North Goa Principal District and Sessions Court has issued notices to all respondent councillors of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), along with the State Election Commission and the Returning Officer, in connection with a petition challenging the validity of the CCP election.

The petition seeks to declare the municipal election null and void, raising legal questions over the conduct of the electoral process. The court has scheduled the next hearing in the matter for Friday, when all parties are expected to present their responses.
