Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday launched the “Taare Zameen Par” Mobile Digital Planetarium & STEM Education Outreach Programme at PM Shri High School, aiming to spark scientific curiosity among students through immersive and experiential learning.
The initiative features an inflatable mobile planetarium equipped with advanced digital projection systems to deliver engaging astronomy shows. In addition, students will have access to hands-on STEM kits designed to promote a “learning by doing” approach, encouraging practical understanding of science and technology concepts.
Envisioned to reach schools across Goa—particularly in remote and underserved areas—the programme will operate through a dedicated outreach bus, making interactive science education more accessible to a wider student base.
The project is supported in part by the Rajalakshmi Children Foundation and aims to transform traditional classrooms into dynamic, immersive learning spaces. Officials said the initiative is expected to inspire innovation and nurture young minds with a deeper interest in science and technology.
