MARGAO: Sieko Cricket Club beat Goa Sports Academy (GSA) by 6 wickets to register their first win in the Premier Division cricket tournament organized by Goa Cricket Association at Bits Pilani ground on Friday.
GSA won the toss decided to bat first scored 170 runs in their inning with Reagan Pinto top scored with 54 runs. In reply- Amit Yadav’s quick-fire unbeaten 63 helped Seiko CC to achieve the target in 29th overs with 6 wickets in hand.
At PCA ground – a stroke-full 91 in 64 balls with 12 hits to the fence and a six by Swapnil Salvi helped Panjim Gymkhana to beat Sunny CC of Mapusa by 7 wickets also to register their first win. Batted first Sunny CC scored 171 runs in their inning. Panjim Gymkhana chased the required score in just in 22 overs with 7 more wickets in hand.

Srinivas Fadte 4-30, Atish Gawand 2-26, Darshan Misal 2-38, Kevin D’costa 1-18, Robin D’souza 1-43) lost to Panjim Gym, 172 for 3 in 22 overs (Suraj Dongre 17, Swapnil Asnodkar 14, Swapnil Salvi 91, Bravish Shetty 37 n.o., Rahul Keny 4 n.o. runs.
