MARGAO: A triple strike by Ryan helped Signals to thump St Anthony’s Assolda 5-2 and cruise into the finals of St Tiago festival football tournament organized by Riverpool Boys at Riverpool ground, Chandor, Saturday. The teams were tied 2-2 at half time.
Ryan opened the scoring in the early moments of the game as he struck twice within 10 minutes.
Stunned by the double blows, Chris struck twice and put St Anthony’s on equal terms.
After the break, Ryan scored once more for the winners while Suraj drove the final nail into the rival coffin when he struck a brace.
