3 deaths in Mormugao

Three persons have been reported dead in three separate incidents in Mormugao taluka.
In the first incident reported with Mormugao police, Deepak Mohanty (24) from West Bengal, who was working on a trawler, died on the trawler in the deep sea due to a brief illness on March 6.
In the second incident, a 33-year-old man from Bogda, Vasco, fell into the gutter in an inebriated condition.
Mormugao Police said that one Vinod Prabhakar Haldankar succumbed to head injuries at GMC on Friday.
In the third incident reported near Dabolim International airport on March 8, a 69-year-old man from Chicalim-Vasco, who had gone for a morning walk was found unconscious near the airport.
Vasco police shifted Ramesh Chandrakanth Kankonkar to GMC, where he died on Friday at about 6 pm.
