PANJIM: The State government on Wednesday transferred 28 police inspectors attached to various police stations across the State. According to an order issued by Nelson B R Albuquerque, Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Panjim, PI Alvito A Rodrigues has been transferred from Mormugao Police Station to Colva Traffic Cell, Anant A Gaonkar from Goa Police Welfare Society, Altinho to Agasaim Police Station.
Similarly, Chandrakant R Gawas has been transferred from Canacona Police Station to Security Unit Panjim, Lady PI Devyani C Naik from S B Centre, Ponda to AHTU, Panjim and Dhiraj R Devidas from Vasco Police Station to Mormugao Police Station.

Somnath L Mahajik has been transferred from GRP C Coy to Saligao Police Station, Sunil Y Gudlar from Konkan Railway Police Station to Colva Police Station and Suraj G Samant from Betul Coastal Security Police Station to GRP C Coy.
Terence P Vaz has been transferred from Chapora Coastal Security Police Station to SCRB Panaji, Therron S D’Costa from Colva PS to Betul Coastal Security PS and Vijay Kumar S Chodankar from Security Unit Panaji to Panjim Police Station. Vikram G Naik has been transferred from Agasaim PS to Dabolim Airport Traffic Cell, Vinayak N Patil from GRP A Coy to SB Centre Ponda and Yogesh S Sawant from Old Goa PS to Mardol Police Station, the order said.
