Mormugao a Ganesh Pandal Demolition Adjourned Over Law-and-Order Concerns

The demolition of the a Ganesh pandal shed at Headland-Sada has been adjourned amid concerns over a possible law-and-order situation after some people reportedly threatened to self-immolate.

The demolition had been ordered by the High Court, which had directed the Chief Officer of the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) to execute the order and remain present at the site.
