PANJIM: Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao topped the Goa Football Association Under 14 Second Division League 2013-14 ( Ilhas Zone ) and qualified for the play off with a match to spare.
In their last match played on Friday they defeated Football Club of Neura by a whopping 8-0 margin and recording their fifth consecutive victory and thus collecting 15 points which no other team is able to reach.
Kael Fernandes was the star for Taleigao who scored a fantastic hat-trick. Nathan Gomes scored a brace while Myron Peixoto, Sherwin Fernandes and Felton D’Costa scored one goal each in the match played at Dr Remegio Pinto Grounds, Taleigao.
Second placed are CDJ, Ribandar who finished their league engagements with a total of 12 points.
