Bank manager remanded to 14 days, Tanvi remanded to 2 days judicial custody

CURCHOREM: In the Curchorem bank fraud case, Quepem JMFC court has remanded the bank manager Anand Jadhav to 14 days judicial custody at Colvale jail and two days custody for Tanvi Vasta at Curchorem jail. The next hearing for the bail has been scheduled on 7th December.

Tanvi Vasta who was the actual conduit in the bank fraud case has been remanded to two days police custody at Curchorem jail.

The next hearing for the bail has been scheduled on Saturday 7 Dec.

Jadhav and  Co-accused Tanvi Vasta were linked in duping numerous senior citizens by swapping Rs 1.5 crore worth of gold jewelry and money transfer with fakes and fraudulent manner.

Fraud Complaints:

Rs 1.5 crore worth of complaints received.

Jadhav accused of transferring Rs 14,28,000 from Cristalina Coutinho’s account without consent.

Co-accused Tanvi Vasta linked to swapping Rs 25 lakh worth of gold jewelry with fakes and fraudulent mobile banking transfers of Rs 5.5 lakh from Rosalina Dias’s account.
