Goans support the Tiracol Rakhonn Manch against the illegal and criminal actions of Leading Hotels Ltd. We condemn the environmental damage that is being caused by the Golf Course and villas project with the controversial backing extended by Goa Government.
This email is being addressed to Gerson Rebelo who has in an ad issued in Goan newspapers on behalf of Leading Hotels Ltd defended their actions in Tiracol, so he understands that Goans support the people of Tiracol in their fight to protect it against the evil designs of Leading Hotels Ltd.
We condemn the criminal actions of Leading Hotels Ltd and their actions that contravene the Court’s directions issued to them. We Goans oppose the stand taken by the Government of Goa in promoting this project by granting illegal permissions which are harmful to the environment and ecology of Tiracol. Over and above they have granted Leading Hotels Ltd a Rs 77 crore bridge on the Goan taxpayers expense! Please join the public meeting on June 7 at 3.30 pm near Tiracol fort calling the people of Goa to protest against the project.
