It has been found that many of our Goan brothers and sisters have made Portuguese passport and cancelled their Indian passport for their future plans for their family members and to earn money for better life. Many have gone to UK and different parts of world by holding the Portuguese passport and that’s good for them. When they come to Goa for holidays, many wonder what is going on in Goa? What kinds of roads you people are having? What a life you are living in? What a slow network and etc.
My dear friend you were born in this country India and when you were living here that time you people had no problem. How can you talk like this? Many are breaking the law and order of this country because they think with the power of money they can do anything in India.
During election time many of the Goan brothers who are holding the Portuguese passport come down to Goa just before the state election. Even when they don’t have any voting rights in our country they come and rule here. Telling people whom they have to vote. Baba when you don’t have voting and other rights what work you will do for the people of Goa.
After the election are finished they all go back to UK etc. By listening to these people poor Goans who are in Goa State are suffering for the 5 yrs. Then again they come down during next elections to support other Party and the same story continues. You people are voting in the countries where you belong by holding a Portuguese passport please don’t come and disturb the peace among us. Don’t stay in UK and some other countries holding other nationalities passport and ask the people of Goa what is happening in my Goa. If you love Goa so much than come down and save and protect it.
Many have sold their land and houses and gone to UK and because of them many non-Goans have made Goa their home. I know many of my Goan brothers and sisters who have gone to UK etc for a better future and they love their Goa right from where they are but we cannot save our land Goa by sitting and working there forever by keeping your Goa house closed for years.
Many people’s sons and daughters are in UK and they are enjoying the pension funds which are for above 60 yrs in a double floor house and those who are poor, yes our own poor Goan elders are still not getting the benefits.
