Following the incident, Karnataka Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre ordered a temporary suspension of all safari operations in Nagarahole and Bandipur Tiger Reserves, as well as trekking in areas vulnerable to human-wildlife conflict.

The minister also instructed that additional forest personnel be deployed for an operation to capture the tiger believed to be responsible for the attacks.
