A sudden cloudburst in Hyderabad on Sunday night triggered heavy flooding across several parts of the city, leaving three persons missing after being swept away in overflowing nalas.
Authorities said search operations have been launched for two individuals, identified as Ramu and Arjun, who were reportedly washed away in the Mangarubasti nala at Afzalsagar, Asifnagar. In another incident near Musheerabad, which recorded over 12 cm of rainfall, a man named Dinesh was reported missing after being swept into the nala at Vinobhanagar Colony, Parsigutta, Secunderabad.
