PANJIM: On Friday 178 samples that were tested for COVID-19 reported negative.

As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), of the 247 samples sent for testing, reports of 178 were negative while 69 reports are awaited.
On Friday one new suspected COVID patient was admitted in isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), while 14 contacts were placed under government facility quarantine. Eight suspected patients are in GMC isolation as on Friday.
All the seven COVID-19 patients have recovered, while three are discharged, four are in quarantine.
Currently, 34 people are quarantined at Margao Residency, 17 in Mayem Residency, 24 in Mapusa Residency and 13 in Old Goa facility.
