VALPOI: The Valpoi Municipal Council has issued notices to 18 persons directing them remove their roadside encroachments.
VMC Chairman Akhtar Shah said that Valpoi, being the business hub in Sattari, a large number of people visit the town for various works.
Therefore, Shah said that the roadside encroachments have been causing hardships to motorists and pedestrians, besides causing traffic congestion.
Following several complaints from the general public, Shah said the council has issued notices to 18 persons directing them remove their roadside encroachments.
