2 held for smuggling Gutka in Valpoi

Valpoi Police arrested two persons on charges of transporting Gutka worth Rs 30,000 from Goa to Maharashtra.
According to Police, the accused, Prashant Hanumant Gawas and Vishnu Prakash Redkar, both from Dodamarg-Maharashtra, were arrested by Valpoi Police while they were found transporting four sacks of Gutka worth Rs 30,000 at the Poriem-Sattari check post at about 11.15 am on Thursday.
Police arrested both accused and also seized the Gutka and the Tata Ace (MH-07-P-0106).
Further investigations are on under the supervision of PI Vaigankar.
