MAPUSA: Three accused, booked for attempt-to-murder in December 2017, were remanded in police custody for six days by a JMFC Court, Mapusa.
The accused, Jocquiem D’Costa (30), a resident of Moira; Suryesh alias Babu Pandurang Arolkar (30), a resident of Khorlim and Ashwek Yahwant Walawalkar (26), a resident of Parra, surrendered before a JMFC Court at Mapusa on Thursday. The three, along with three others were booked for attempting to murder one Sandesh Naik from Moira.
All the six accused had been absconding.
While the accused were absconding, they had also applied for anticipatory bail, but the same was rejected.
