The FIR on Thursday was registered under Sections 354 and 509 of the IPC. PI Sudiksha Naik told Herald that the case was registered taking cognisance of a complaint alleging that Samant molested her in the year 2013, reportedly in his car. This is a third FIR based on four complaints filed against him so far. Meanwhile, the women’s PS had issued Samant summons to appear before it on Thursday, which he failed to respond.
