However, four new persons were admitted in the isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), taking the number in the ward to eight.

As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), of the 163 samples sent for testing, 141 test results were negative, while 22 test reports are awaited.
In all, 38 contacts have been placed under government facility quarantine.
