Four persons have been arrested in connection with group clashes at Kavlem-Ponda late Sunday evening.
the accused are Durgesh Naik, Samir Kavlekar, Pradip Naik and Ajay Naik.
It may be recalled that several youth from Kavlem-Ponda were seriously injured when two groups clashed following a Dahihandi breaking competition at Tisk-Ponda.
The winning group from Bandora was passing through Kavlem in a victory procession, when another group reportedly blocked them and clashes took place between the two groups. PSI Tukaram Chawan is investigating the case.
