4 Kenyans held for overstaying

Porvorim Police on Thursday arrested four Kenyan nationals residing in Porvorim on charges of overstaying in the country.
During an enquiry, police found out that the visas of Moses Omula (29), Suleman Obiva (29), Beranard Maele (30) and Victor Omula (26) had expired 3 months ago.
They were booked under Section 14 of foreigners Act, Section 79 of Foreigners Order 1948 and Passport Entry into Indian Rule 1950.
They were later produced before the Judicial Magistrate First class, Mapusa.
Since all of them pleaded guilty and produced air tickets to prove that they would leave the country soon, they were released by JMFC on a fine of Rs 5000 each.
