Two Africans arrested on Friday by the Bangalore City Crime Branch police for selling cocaine were earlier selling drugs in Goa, says a report in ‘Indian Express’. The police seized drugs worth Rs1.25 lakh from them.
Joseph Ouma Achola (39) alias Pappajo, a native of Kenya, come to India on a student visa in 1999 and took admission in the National School of Law in New Delhi. After graduating in 2004, he came to Goa and started a restaurant there. There he used to procure narcotics from Nigerian tourists, and sell the drugs in Goa and Bangalore.
HAL police spotted Pappajo while he was selling cocaine at Chowdeshwara Layout. He was arrested and Rs42,675 in cash was recovered from him. His accomplicewas Mahama Albert (27) of Ghana. Both had been arrested earlier for selling drugs, but got bail.
