Herald: Why is that AAP had to poach leaders from other political setups?
Ashutosh: From the day AAP was formed, its doors and windows have been kept open for anybody who believes in honest politics. What’s wrong with honest politicians? It is not poaching.
Herald: Do you think your candidates’ past political affiliations would work against AAP?
Ashutosh: Why it should affect AAP? I had been a journalist in the past, why should it affect me now? I am honest even now and was when I was a journalist. There are many senior politicians in Goa who have been knocking on the doors of AAP and we have rejected them because they don’t have a clean record.
Herald: Will AAP remain a formidable opposition if it loses the Goa polls? Or will it vanish like some other political outfits?
Ashutosh: AAP is here to win and form the government. We know that Manohar Parrikar has lost credibility in Goa and among the people. AAP will remain in Goa for Goans.
