MARGAO: The Nuvem BJP mandal has condemned the assault on BJP state executive member and member of Goa State Women’s Commission Samira Cardoso.
Mandal Chairman Dinesh Bandodkar said an emergency meeting of the party Nuvem Madal has strongly condemned the assault on Samira by panch member Conceisao Colaco and others. He said the panch member has lost all right to continue as the ward member as he has allegedly assaulted a woman who is working for justice to women, adding that the Mandal will take up the issue with the government to disqualify Colaco as member of Nuvem Panchayat.
