Automation system in fair price shops launched

VASCO: Governor Mridula Sinha launched automation system in a fair price shop in Nagoa on Tuesday. 
Launching the system, the Governor said that the automation would bring in more trust and transparency in the ration distribution affairs and also stop black marketing. 
The governor launched the automation and use of PoS system at a shop in Nagoa in the presence Civil Supplies Minister Govind Gawade. 
On the occasion, the governor said, “The issues of trust and transparency in the fair price shop affairs were always a worry. With automation, the worries will be reduced and the rights of ration to consumers will be delivered without hassles.”
Gawade said, “Increased transparency in fair price shop system will ensure the stock reaches the deserving and the needy only. In fact, for the places which have no internet coverage we have made sure that a offline system is started too.”
