BJP again attacks Cong for ‘misleading’ people

PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) again attacked Congress asking it not to mislead the people on crucial issues like Mhadei river water diversion and coal handling.

PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) again attacked Congress asking it not to mislead the people on crucial issues like Mhadei river water diversion and coal handling. 
BJP’s Subhash Faldesai, Dattaprasad Naik and Kiran Kandolkar addressed the media expressing anger over Congress’ tactics. 
Reacting to State Congress president Shantaram Naik’s allegation that BJP was colluding with the Adani Group on expansion of coal handling berths at MPT, Dattaprasad said “Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has already exposed Congress on the coal handling issue. Moreover, the cargo handling berths expansion was not by Adani but Congress’ former MP Jindal.” 
Faldesai slammed Congress MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco on allegations that that there is no GST on casino transactions. The government, had clarified that from July 1, 2017, the Entertainment Tax is subsumed and all the transactions on casinos are liable to GST. 
BJP also demanded an inquiry into the alleged irregularities in Goa State Co-operative Bank.
 from 2007 till date, particularly during the tenure of the Congress-led government.
