Councillor Ritesh Ravi Naik has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership will take the final call on whom to field as the party’s candidate for the upcoming Ponda by-election.
Naik stated that both he and Roy Naik are committed to continuing the legacy of development initiated by the late Ravi Naik, who had served the constituency for several years.

“The decision on the party’s candidate will be made by the BJP leadership. Regardless of who is chosen, our focus will remain on carrying forward the developmental vision and initiatives of my late father, Ravi Naik,” Ritesh Naik said.
He added that the BJP remains united in its goal to ensure the continued progress of Ponda and to uphold the values and projects championed by the former MLA.
