BJP stealing our ideas: AAP

PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa reminded the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant that Arvind Kejriwal has been providing 20,000 KL water a month for free to Delhi residents since 2015, reacting to latter’s  claim that this is the first government to provide free water in India.

“Once again we see the BJP stealing ideas from AAP and trying to sell it as their own,” stated the press release issued by the party.

“The Sawant Sarkar’s free water “jumla” was welcomed with hilarity as Goenkars asked him ‘Sawant Bab first provide water then make promises of free water. North Goa areas such as Bardez face chronic water problems and it’s a common complaint of pipeline bursts impacting Goan lives. South Goa too faces regular supply-based disruptions. In many villages water security is a dream as villagers are dependent on pumps from wells’,” the AAP claimed.

“Six years later finally we see the BJP, whose leaders are so “arrogantly” against providing Goenkars with  services they deserve, is forced to accept the Kejriwal model, even if it is out of fear of losing their posts,” claimed AAP Goa convenor Rahul Mhambre.
