Calangute Police arrested a 23-year-old man from Bihar after allegedly recovering 1.51 kg of suspected ganja during a search at Gauravaddo, Calangute, in the early hours of Tuesday.
The accused was identified as Harsh, police said.

According to police, the suspected narcotic substance was a greenish leafy material with flowering or fruiting tops and weighed approximately 1,510 grams. Its estimated value was placed at around ₹1.5 lakh.
Police seized the suspected ganja through a search and seizure panchanama under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
Further investigation into the case is being conducted by PSI Rajaram Bagkar.
