A road accident occurred at Cruz Waddo, Marna-Siolim, when a car bearing a Maharashtra registration number allegedly attempted to overtake a tempo near St. Anthony Church and collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries on both legs and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Outpost Head Constable Rupesh Shetgaokar promptly arrived at the scene and conducted the panchanama. The damaged vehicles were later cleared to ease traffic movement.
