Caranzalem Fishermen Object to Beach Event, Say Area Reserved for Traditional Fishing

Local fishermen from Caranzalem have raised strong objections to the recent “Oceanman” event held on the Caranzalem beach, asserting that the area is reserved exclusively for traditional fishing activities.

A group of fishermen met with the Director of the Fisheries Department to convey their concerns, emphasizing that the beach stretch should not be used for commercial or mechanized activities that disrupt their livelihood.
