PANJIM, MARCH 16 The Bombay High Court at Goa on Monday issued a notice to Corporation of City Panjim (CCP) for allegedly constructing a garden in private property at Caranzalem.

The Bombay High Court at Goa on Monday issued a notice to Corporation of City Panjim (CCP) for allegedly constructing a garden in private property at Caranzalem. 
One  Mohitbanoo Amin Vakik  has filed a  petition before in the High Court alleging that CCP  has encroached  upon  his  plot of land (about 700 sq mt)  at  Caranzalem, and has been putting up a garden. 
The land has not been acquired by Corporation of City Panjim , says the petition.
While senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner pressed for a stay on the construction, the High Court while declining to grant the stay, said, construction would be subject to outcome of the petition.
The Court has also ordered to present all records on next date of hearing.
