Panjim: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday expressed confidence that the Centre will continue to support infrastructure development and human development in the State.
Thanking the people of Goa for reposing their trust in BJP, Sawant said, “I am not accidental not selected Chief Minister. I am elected Chief Minister.”

Sawant said that the work of Swayampurna Goa 2.0 will start in right earnest soon.
The Chief Minister declined to give details about the expansion of his Cabinet as three berths are vacant. He also declined to react when asked whether he will induct three new faces in his Cabinet.
“We have sworn in just now. Wait for a few more days,” he said.
