“We are expected to soon receive clear guidelines from ECI on how to implement the order. The SC order will definitely be followed,” he stated.
The State has seen political developments in the recent past on the language issue with two groups at loggerheads over medium of instruction at the primary schools. The language issue gave rise to a new political outfit – Goa Suraksha Manch – supported by the Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch that earlier backed BJP in 2012 elections.
