PERNEM: In a heart-warming move, Shailesh Gawas of the late Vasanti Vithu Gawas Charitable Trust has pledged to donate CCTV cameras to all the spots that come under Pernem Police Station jurisdiction.
He was speaking during the ceremony where he and Neha Gawas donated blankets, pillow covers and other usable materials to the personnel of Pernem Police Station.

Shailesh on the behalf of the trust presented an appeal to Pernem Police Inspector Dattaram Raut asking for permission to install CCTVs.
“After receiving the approval, we will install the CCTVs in required places in the hope of reducing crimes,” Gawas claimed.
