PANJIM: The towing vehicle of Panjim municipality broke down on the very day it was brought after repairs.
The municipality had stopped towing the wrongly parked vehicles after this same vehicle broke down a year ago. It was then sent for repairs and brought only a few days ago.
However, the vehicle broke down on the same day it was brought back.
“Due to breakdown of the towing vehicle, we have stopped towing the vehicles parked at no parking areas. We have ordered for parts to replace the broken ones. Within a few days this van will be ready,” Mayor Uday Madkaikar said.
