CM Pramod Sawant Says He’s Ready to Apologise if Anyone Was Hurt

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said he is willing to apologise if anyone felt hurt during the recent controversy in the Goa Legislative Assembly. Clarifying his remarks made during a protest inside the Assembly, Sawant stated that he never called anyone a “terrorist.” He emphasised that he has always maintained a calm and respectful approach in the House. The Chief Minister also noted that during his tenure as Speaker, he had never witnessed such conduct inside the legislature. His statement comes after criticism and debate surrounding the incident that took place during last Friday’s Assembly proceedings.
