PONDA: The Bandora Panchayat has revoked construction license issued to a temple committee to undertake developmental works near the temple premises.

It may be recalled that a show-cause notice was issued to the managing committee of the temple in March.

According to information, Dattaram Nayak had lodged a complaint with the panchayat alleging that developmental works were undertaken by the temple committee without obtaining conversion Sanad.

“You were permitted to construct the residential building at Ramnathi…however, you have violated the condition prescribed in the construction license issued by this panchayat and also failed to produce the conversion Sanad,” stated the order issued by the panchayat.

“The TCP has already revoked the technical clearance issued to the Devasthan and Health Department has also cancelled the NOC of the said construction. Therefore, the panchayat members unanimously resolved and decided to revoke the construction license and hence you are hereby directed to stop the construction work,” stated the order.
