PANJIM: All Goa Secondary School Teachers Association (AGSSTA), Tiswadi Block, will be meeting on August 27, here, to deliberate on education-related matters concerning the teaching community.
The meeting will be held at Sahakar Sankul, Goa State Co-operative Bank Hall, Patto, at 4 pm. The meeting in Panjim is part of the on-going series of deliberations taluka-wise among the secondary school teaching community.
Issues on extended school timing, Part-B scales under the Sixth Pay and other issues are likely to form part of the agenda.
The meet is also likely to discuss the mid-day meal scheme and the latest directives issued by the education department.
So far the AGSSTA has held meetings in Margao and Ponda. All eyes are on this meet which is likely to be the decider on the plan of action on serious issues.
