PONDA: The villagers and panchayat members of Curti-Khandepar in a letter addressed to Police Inspectors of Ponda Police and Ponda Traffic Cell have called on them to clear the unauthorized parking of heavy goods truck which are parked along the national highway from Gurkha house to Amigos Bar Junction and Amigos Bar Junction to Sahakari Petrol Pump.
The trucks keep using this space for parking despite area being notified as a “No Parking Zone”. Several accidents have taken place here due to the parking of trucks. In this connection people and panchas have requested the police and traffic police to act and book the defaulters on priority basis.
