Cyber Awareness Session Held at Dhaushire-Tisk School to Empower Students on Online Safety

As part of its community outreach efforts, Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology organised a Cyber Awareness Session for students of Government High School, Dhaushire-Tisk, on January 30, 2026.

The session was conducted by Allen Pauly Payappilly, Cyber Yoddha, Goa Police, and ISEA representative, with the objective of empowering students to become responsible, informed and confident digital citizens. Through engaging discussions and real-life examples, students were educated on crucial aspects of cyber safety, including online scams, cyberbullying, password protection and the ethical use of social media.

Emphasis was laid on the importance of remaining vigilant in the digital space, safeguarding personal information and reporting cyber incidents without fear. The initiative left a lasting impression on the students, motivating them to use technology wisely and stand firm against cyber threats, while reinforcing the message that awareness and responsibility are the true strengths of a digital warrior.
