Godinho also announced plans to utilise a large span beneath the flyover by developing it into a garden, with a portion reserved for celebrations of Dabolimcha Raja Ganesh. Additionally, he said that the Datta Mandir, which was shifted during the flyover construction, will be beautified.

The project is seen as a key infrastructure upgrade aimed at easing traffic congestion in the Dabolim area.
