VASCO: The forthcoming tourist season is likely to see the landing of the latest long-range jet airliner Boeing 787 Dreamliner in Goa. The flight is operated by charter operator Thomas Airways.
When asked if larger aircraft can be handled at the new terminal at Dabolim, airport Director M Suresh said that Thomas Airways had submitted a proposal indicating its desire to bring in their new generation airliner Boeing 787 Dreamliner for the coming tourism season.
He informed the visa-on-arrival facility would be implemented during the new tourism season at the new airport terminal.
