CANACONA: The NCP on Wednesday formed a new block for Canacona constituency, with an eye on the South Goa Lok Sabha seat.
NCP leader Jose Philip D’Souza D’Souza along with NCP spokespersons, Trajano D’Mello and Avinash Bhosle, on Wednesday addressed NCP workers at Agonda and assisted in the formation of the Canacona NCP Block Committee under the leadership of Ketan Bhagat as president.
Other committee members are Milagres Fernandes, Nelson Monteiro, Raju Nair, RamnathVelip and Mahesh Naik (vice presidents), Vivekanand Gaonkar (secretary), Pralay Bhagat (joint secretary),Pramod Gaonkar (treasurer) and Shekhar Chari (joint treasurer).
