Furtado informed that the sewerage dept has been given until January to complete digging works and that all internal roads in all villages of his constituency would be taken up for hot-mixing next year. On the sanitation front, he said the matter will be resolved once the sewerage line is operational. He said the power issue would be addressed as underground cabling work is likely to begin in Navelim shortly.
Davorlim locals urge MLA to resolve issues
MARGAO: Rumdamol-Davorlim residents have appealed to Navelim MLA Avertano Furtado to resolve their long-pending issues of poor electricity supply, roads and sanitation, including sewage flowing in the open.
