PANJIM: Delhi-based MALUKA’s IAS, a research and training institution to help those apprising for the Civil Services and other Central government examinations, is set to launch its centre in Panjim in collaboration with Sai Education Academy.
Started in 2015, the institution will also prepare aspiring candidates for the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) examination. The Institute has announced free training to poor students and to candidates whose parents were martyred while serving in the defence forces.
Addressing the media, Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant said MALUKA’s IAS, will train candidates aspiring for the IAS, IPS, banking, Indian Railways, GPSC, Income Tax, Excise, Customs, and other central government examinations.
“We have realised that very few students from Goa opt for competitive examinations. There are various reasons, including lack of training. Hence, in a bid to help those aspirants wanting to go for such highly qualified posts, we are introducing coaching and training programmes,” he said.
MALUKA’s IAS head faculty Lachman Singh Maluka said their vision is to channelise the true potential of youth of the nation. “We will provide an ideal platform to the youth of Goa, so they can get ideal mentoring and career guidance while staying at home only,” he said.
The institute provides one-to-one mentoring, personalised guidance, counseling on growth parameters of each student, career counseling, motivational sessions and other required assistance till selection for various exams.
“We guarantee that if the student fails to qualify for the final entrance exam, the entire fee would be refunded. Also, if 80 percent of the questions prepared by us, don’t appear for exam, we refund the fees,” Maluka said, adding that the fee structure would be Rs 50,000 per student.
