Delhi native held with charas

MARGAO: A 39-year-old Delhi native was arrested by Margao Town police for possessing drugs. Acting on a tip-off on December 6, Margao Town police laid a trap at a hotel in Rawanfond and arrested Jayabrata Saha, a resident of  Varundhra Enclave, Delhi for  possessing 214 grams of charas worth Rs 20,140.  After the panchanama, the drugs were attached along with a driving licence of the accused, a Samsung mobile phone with a SIM and cash of Rs 1,160.  Margao Town police registered offences under Sections 21 (b), (ii) (B) of the NDPS Act and further investigations are on.
