CALANGUTE: The detection of a dengue case at Agar Vaddo in Calangute has caused alarm among residents of Calangute and Candolim.
What has added to the concern among locals is the large presence of migrant workers who live in huts and makeshift shanties with poor sanitation facilities at Agar Vaddo.
According to reports, a local tested positive for dengue and was treated at a private hospital.
