Dr Ketan Bhatikar Joins Congress, Says “Not Here for Defection Politics”; Backs Party’s Prospects in Upcoming Polls

In a significant political development in Goa, Dr Ketan Bhatikar has formally joined the Indian National Congress, asserting that his decision was driven by conviction and not by defection politics.

Speaking after joining the party, Bhatikar clarified that he has entered the Congress after careful consideration and intends to remain committed to its ideology and leadership. He also expressed deep respect for senior leader Sudin Dhavalikar, describing him as his “guru” and stating that this regard would always remain unchanged.
