Acting on information that the driver, Sandesh Bhandari, was trapped under a vehicle, fire personnel rushed to the site and saved the driver with the help of Hydraulic Telescopic Ram (HTR).
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle (GA-09-U-0170) lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle rammed into a roadside electricity pole.
After hitting the pole, the vehicle rolled about 6 metres off the road and the driver was trapped between the front wheel and the cabin, after falling out of the vehicle,” informed a fire official. The injured driver was moved to Curchorem Primary Health Centre for medical treatment.
